The Bride on Her Whites - Singapore
One thing’s certain when working with whites – you have to be precise and you need to be driven. Because this bride worked on her wedding gown!
This bride has finally marked one off her DIY list.
She made herself her own white dress to say her vows with, and truly value for the years ahead. Sounds melodramatic and maybe familiar, but it truly is.
Especially if it’s your own.
Experienced with textiles and sewing, though rusty, she cautiously plots her points, fits her patterns and meticulously sews each piece together.
Two weeks before the wedding.
She constantly wonders how time seems insufficient, how confused she becomes whenever she browses Pinterest and how it is possible to [beauty] sleep the night before the most important early morning wakeup call.
That dream DIY gown.
It seldom happens, yet the end [feel] always justifies.
Oh, that proud moment.
This wedding gown became a medal for this bride.
At long last, I made my wedding gown and it fits well.
It may have puckers. It may have deviated from the original design.
It is never perfect.
But I am happy.
I am fulfilled.
Being wed to my love and having finished my gown.
Yes, two birds.
